45M EXPEDITION YACHT TO BE UNVEILED IN MONACO |

Persak & Wurmfeld together with Hakvoort Shipyards will present P&W’s new design for a 45M Expedition Yacht at the Monaco Yacht Show on
September 19 – 22.
The design boasts a bold, clean, sculptural exterior with a plum stemmed, sea kindly and efficient hull form suitable for long range cruising and exploration. The interior arrangement offers versatility unlike any vessel in its size range, suitable for 12 guests in six staterooms.

MOTIVE 25R TRIMARAN DEBUTS IN NEWPORT |
The Motive 25R Trimaran |
Persak & Wurmfeld and Motive Trimarans were excited to debut the brand new Motive 25R trimaran daysailer at the Newport International Boatshow last week. The first all carbon fiber production trimaran in its class, the Motive 25R captured the attention of the judges for Newport for New Products, winning BEST NEW SAILBOAT. The judges commented: “Everything was well thought out with super clever design elements,” and “If I could use her for a day - I might never come back!”

e33 HULL #26 LAUNCHES IN MAINE |
METEOR with sister ship FLEETING MOMENT |
Persak & Wurmfeld, e Sailing Yachts, and Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding are proud to announce the launch of e33 hull #26 “METEOR”. Her proud new owners plan to race and day sail the boat in and around Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts.
METEOR is the latest e33 squared edition built by Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding of Thomaston, Maine. A real dream to sail, the handsome yacht is known for its elegant lines, sail handling innovations, easy performance and comfortable ride.

BROOKLYN BOATWORKS LAUNCHES FOUR NEW OPTI’S |

On June 7, 2012, Brooklyn Boatworks students proudly launched and sailed their hand built Optimist Pram sailboats, BCS PATROL and THE ALBATROSS, into the Hudson River. Twenty four students from two New York City public schools worked together on their boats all year, using only marine plywood, simple hand tools and their own determination.
The launch was a tremendous success, with all students getting a chance to sail their new boats. Partner organization Hudson River Community Sailing (HRCS) also launched two of their own hand built Opti’s with the support of Brooklyn Boatworks.
Persak & Wurmfeld founded Brooklyn Boatworks in 2005 to give back to their local community. This year the program will be expanding to four New York City public schools, and your support is more important than ever.
