Carl Persak has more than fifteen years of engineering, naval architecture and design experience. Previous to starting P&W, he ran his own design firm and worked for Sparkman & Stephens in New York City, Michael Peters Yacht Design in Sarasota, FL, and Elliott Bay Design Group in Seattle, WA.

Carl holds a Professional Engineer’s license in New York and is a graduate of Webb Institute where he also teaches. He is an avid athlete who pursues sailing, surfing, cycling and has completed four New York City marathons. He lives with his wife and children in Brooklyn.

Jeremy Wurmfeld brings a wealth of design and sailing experience to P&W. Previously he ran his own design firm and co-founded e Sailing Yachts. He spent five years with Sparkman & Stephens in New York City after beginning his career as an architect and yacht skipper in the Eastern Caribbean.

Jeremy is an alumnus of Grinnell College and Westlawn Institute of Marine Technology. He is a lifelong sailor and racer, actively competing in both one design and super yacht classes. He lives with his wife and children in Brooklyn.
